Good Image Sites

29 August, 2008

I was asked last night about some good copyright free image sites.  I suppose this is a bit of an oximoron, because often if sites provide free images there are some catches and one of the major catches is that the images probably are not “great quality”.

In our office we use istock photo for all of our of images, because the images they sell are relatively inexpensive and generally very good quality,  so I don’t regularly use copyright free image galleries. With that said, below are some copyright free image sites you can check out

PR Web Article

28 August, 2008

When submitting the first PR Web article for your website I will be using my account, which means you won’t need to create an account…  However, because your website is new and the article that I will be submitting is about your new website PR web have some strict guidelines that need to be adhered to.

So for the first article that we submit using PR Web I suggest the angle you take should be “New Website Launches”.  You should then describe that your new website aims to inform viewers about your topic.  You should have some direct quotes from you regarding the website.

I hope that helps.

Article And Directory Submission

Today I have some great news for you!

I have been able to broker a deal with my Article and Directory Submission providers to provide everyone in my coaching program with free Article and Directory Submission.

The only catch is that I need to have 15 articles that have been topped and tailed by you provided to me by close of business on Friday.  And I also need 4 – 5 directory titles and descriptions for use.

All you need to do to make this happen is head over to your private forum and upload the 15 articles and post the 4 – 5 directory titles and descriptions.

As I said to make this happen I need to have this completed by close of business on Friday 29th August!

Don’t Over-Invest In Your House

27 August, 2008

You might think that’s a weird title for a blog post when we are talking about building websites and internet marketing, but this is actually the perfect analogy. Let me explain…

I have talked to many people over the last few days about spending too much time on the visual aspects of their websites.  Your website is very much like your house, while it might look great having a gold plated bath in your bathroom, it probably doesn’t make commercial sense to do this.  When it comes time to sell your house you wont be able to get the return on investment.

This is very much like your website, you can spend time uploading beautiful photos, making sure all the text is perfectly aligned and that headers are the right colour but ultimately you will end up over-investing in your website.

You need to be emotionally unattached to your website, your website is purely about generating cash flow and is not about winning a beauty contest.

Another Great Example

I was doing a quick critique this morning on a website using the email eddy strategy. The page I am about to show you is a content page on the website with affiliate links on the page and is another great example of a content page.

To have a look at it head over to the link below today:

More PPC sites…

26 August, 2008

Last week I gave you my top 10 alternatives to using affiliate programs to achieve a cost per click income. This top 10 is part of my 39 favourites and over the next week or so I will be sharing my thoughts about all 39 programs:

AdAgency

This site has some requirements before you join which include existing traffic and a professional graphic design. This is great agency but probably one we will look at joining further down the track.

adBrite

Thre are no major requirements to join adBrite and it is one of the easier networks to join if you’re looking for CPC and CPM advertisers. I would suggest joining this network initially.

Advertising.com

This site has multiple revenue models for you to choose from including CPC, CPA, CPS, CPM. This is a great site to join initially because it offers a wide range of choices and will work for both advanced and beginner email eddy.

Affiliate Sensor

This site has all the same affiliate programs that clickbank offers, but they say they have a more user friendly interface.

AzoogleLeads

This site manages some bigger brands’ and search engines’ PPC programs and is a great place for you to start for both email eddy and advanced email eddy

Bid Clix

This site provides CPC advertising to you from the advertiser who bids the highest amount, rather than basing it on the keyword or specific topic of your website. Great for a strong return on investment.

AdClickCent

This site is user friendly and provides some great PPC programs for you to use on your sites.

These are just a few of the many PPC networks that I will be sharing my thoughts on over the coming weeks. Remember, if you don’t get accepted into every PPC network, don’t stress about it, you only need to be accepted into a few networks for you to be able to earn income

Some Examples For You

I have spent some time today working with a few clients on their sites and thought you might also like to take a look at their sites because they’re great examples of Email Eddy sites!

This first example is the home page of a website that has the home page ready for traffic generation. This is the affiliate landing page that I talked about at the three day training. To check it out, head over to:

www.DoWellInRealEstate.net

The second example is the home page of a website that is ready for joining PPC sites. This page will change to an affiliate landing page before we start doing traffic generation. Click on the link below to have a look at it now:

Ever Feel Like You’re In Quick Sand?

25 August, 2008

Have you ever felt like you are standing in the middle of a quick sand pit, sinking further into the sand? Or maybe you’ve felt like you are swimming in the deep end of a pool struggling to keep your head above water?

Well if you haven’t, I can guarantee that by the end of the next 6 months of coaching you will have felt like this at least once! When I first talked to you about this coaching programme I suggested to you that it was going to be a life changing experience for a few reasons:

1. You will learn things about yourself that you never knew and at times you might not like
2. You will learn about a new career path that you could potentially move into full time
3. You will hit challenges that will teach you new things about the internet and about you

I just want you to know that as your coach I understand what you are feeling, because I have been there and I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I have joined affiliate programs and been rejected, I have submitted 1000s of articles to end up with no traffic, I have hit technical difficulties, I have felt like I was drowning and I have felt like I was in quick sand.

The good news is that because I have been through all of these experiences I can share my learnings with you so you don’t have to make the same mistakes I have :)

This post can really be summed up best with one of my favourite quotes…

“Problems are to the mind what exercise is to the muscles,
they toughen and make strong.” – Norman Vincent Pearle

On Track Goal Setting

Last week I spent time in our one on one consult to set on track goals with you. These goals are designed to push and challenge you and I can guarantee that you will feel uncomfortable as you work toward these goals.

As your coach it’s my job to put you under pressure, so you can break

through your boundaries and reach new heights, both personally and in your internet business.

It’s important to understand that for the first few weeks, you may not meet your on track goals and this can be both disappointing and frustrating. However, the key here is to examine how you react when you are under pressure and when you feel you don’t have enough knowledge, time, resources, information, etc.

Ask yourself if you are playing above the line (Taking Responsibility) or below the line (laying Blame, making Excuses or Denying). Remember, all the resources you need to be a success online are provided as part of your coaching, the key is to overcome your biggest obstacle… You!

The other thing you will find in any business is that there will be some setbacks along the way. In an offline sense this might be something like Telsta taking 4 weeks to install your phone and internet. Online this may be something like not being accepted by affiliate programs straight away, or not being accepted into an Adclicks program straight away. These setbacks are part of any business and the best thing you can do is to keep moving forward, keep things in perspective and ask for help if you need it.

Once again I’d like to draw your attention to a quote I shared with you last week, from the book Think and Grow Rich…

“The majority of people are ready to throw their arms and purposes overboard, and give up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune. A few carry on DESPITE all opposition until they attain their goal. These few are the Fords, Carnegies, Rockefellers, and Edisons” - Napoleon Hill

Problems Are New Learnings In Disguise

21 August, 2008

We are now entering our second week of one on once coaching and I have been having some amazing coaching calls. It’s great to see how much effort everyone is putting into the program and it’s also amazing to see the commitment level that everyone is showing.

Today I want to talk to you about something you’ll probably come across with any new project or endeavour, whether it’s within this programme or not. When embarking on something new you are going to come across a myriad of new experiences, feelings and challenges. In fact, you’re probably finding this right now as you tackle the tasks within my Internet Coaching Programme.

The majority of the new experiences and challenges you are facing will come from your body and mind resisting change. That’s why your success in this coaching program will come largely from your persistance in achieving your goals.

Napolean Hill said: “The majority of people are ready to throw their arms and purposes overboard, and give up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune. A few carry on DESPITE all opposition until they attain their goal. These few are the Fords, Carnegies, Rockefellers, and Edisons”

When facing new challenges, understand that your success will eventuate when you overcome your resistance to change and tackle it head on. Remember that my team and I are here to support you, so don’t hesitate to head over to the forum and ask questions, or to pick up the phone and call.

Most importantly, don’t hesitate to put up your hand and ask for help if you need it
