I have to admit that lately I have been so busy I have not had time to blog on my favourite Internet Marketing blog… Although I have been bloggin over at Smart Online Profit Systems.
Why have I admitted this? Well, as an internet marketer I should know better, once you start blogging on a regular basis you should not stop suddenly.
You see, up until last week I had been blogging about 5 times per week on my Internet Marketing Blog and in the last week I have not blogged at all. By doing this I have let down my regular readers, if you are a regular reader, I do apologise. By letting down my readers I have also lost traffic.
Social Media strategies like blogging revolve around building traffic and trust with your followers over time. Watch out for some FREE gifts (read bribes) over the coming weeks.

A good friend of mine (and an amazing Marketer and Speaker) Joey Martin has been running a series of TeleSeminars on building a Million Dollar Information Marketing business. I know from personal experience that Joey practices what she preaches. In fact I could re-count to you a few times she has personally helped me make over $100,000 in a couple of hours.
As an added bonus to her TeleSeminars Joey is offering her students a once off Webinar with me, where I will be revealing the Secret Weapon behind her information marketing business success. The Webinar will go for about 1.5 hrs and some of the topics covered will be:
- How you can literally automate your entire information marketing business
- How using the right software can drastically increase your Search engine rankings
- What are the key ingredients to automating a successful information marketing business
This is a closed Webinar just for Joey’s personal clients, but with a little bit of arm twisting she has allowed me to invite some of my friends onto the webinar. The Webinar is on Thursday, 8:00pm Sydney Time, to claim your limited spot click on this link now.

During 2008 we held a fantastic series of tele-classes and we are planning on having some more great interviews again this year. However, because many clients are still trying to clear out the Christmas break cobwebs we will not be holding tele-classes for the next 2 weeks. I will notify you when the next tele-class has been scheduled.
In the meantime I’d love to know who you would like interviewed and what topics you would like covered this year. To let me know what you would like, just add a comment to this blog post.

It seems unusual to be writing a blog post about this, but with people applying for and getting jobs via twitter it seems that as an Internet Marketer it would make sense to advertise for a Business Development Manager on my blog.
I am going to keep the details short but if you are interested in a Business Development Manager role either working from home or in our office in Bathurst then this may interest you. The role would include:
- Building New Joint Venture and Strategic Alliance Partnerships
- Maintaining Current Joint Venture and Strategic Alliance Partnerships
- Managing and coordinating the sales and sales maintenance process
- Contributing new strategies and direction for Sales within the Company
- Meeting and achieving sales targets
- Increasing offerings to the existing client base
An attractive salary package is on offer for the right person, with a base salary of $50K (negotiable) plus commission (expected total package of $100K).
To be successful in this role you would require:
- A proven ability to develop new business through cold calling new contacts or existing contacts
- A proven ability to maintain and strengthen business relationships
- Excellent phone communication and writing skills
- A minimum 5 years experience in a sales environment
- A proven track record of sales achievements
- A tertiary education is preferred but not essential
- IT knowledge and/or a background would be an advantage
If you would like to apply or find out more please email my HR Manager Anne Rawson at: Anne@SureFireMarketing.com.au

Over the coming weeks while we are out of the office and unable to provide support don’t forget all of the resources that you have access to on this blog. Over the last few months we have been steadily uploading training videos to the blog, and we have also uploaded more sensitive videos directly into your forum.
If you do hit a wall here is a quick step by step process you can follow to:
1. Go to the Internet Marketing Coaching Blog and type into the search box on the right hand side of the blog a keyword relating to your question. If after a few times this does not turn up results go to step 2.
2. Click on the training videos link and search through the list of training videos, you will most probably find what you are looking for there. If what you are looking for is not there, go to step 3.
3. Post your question in the Main Forum and one of the other coaching students will endeavor to answer your questions.
I hope that helps you, have a great day.
Christmas has traditionally been the one time a year that I have consistently taken time off to spend celebrating with my family and friends. This year is no different, except that instead of doing the traditional family Christmas we have decided to all head over to Fiji for a family holiday Christmas.

Thanks to all those people who have shown me the news reports about New Zealand and Fiji having their current showdown. It makes me feel safe about my first trip to Fiji
But as another friend of mine pointed out, both countries’ armies are quite small, so the fight would be short.
I will be taking a break from blogging, twitter and well, the internet in general for the period that we are away in Fiji, from:
December 19th – December 27th 2008
While we will be back in the country at the end of December, our office will be closed through to January 5th 2008. During this period I hope that you will also be taking time out to share in the festivities with the people that you love.
I look forward to another great year on the Internet in 2009.
Merry Christmas!

Unfortunately our guest for tonight has cancelled so we wont be having our usual teleclass tonight. But next week we have Scott Bywater on the call and coming soon are the guys from Market Samurai!
Over the coming days I’ll be adding more and more definitions for everyone so that when using terminology with you, you are no longer confused
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) – The process of ranking well in the free side of the search engine’s. It is a way of coding and keyword structuring a website. See image below for an example on google:

Pay Per Click (PPC) – This is the online advertising system used by some search engines, social media sites and blogs where you pay an amount for every click that you receive on an advertisement. This is often referred to as the pay side of search and can be seen on google in the image below:

Pay Per Lead (PPL) – This is an online advertising system used primarily in affiliate programs (although it was tested on google briefly). This is where the advertiser only pays when they have a defined lead. The advertiser normally has the ability to define what a lead is
Pay Per Sale (PPS) – This is another online advertising system used primarily in affiliate programs. This is where the advertiser only pays when they have an actual sale go through.
