This week I have been working on cleaning up the 3 major strategies that most people in the coaching program are using. So over the next few days I will be making ‘next steps’ posts for the email eddy strategy, traffic trading strategy and lead generation strategy.
Now as you know, the email eddy strategy is a strategy that combines free traffic generation with Pay Per Click, Pay Per Lead and Pay Per Sale affiliate marketing. Just a quick note to people doing this strategy, please make sure that you do not use PAID traffic generation strategies when generating traffic to the landing pages on the email eddy site. I say this for a few reasons:
- Email eddy is designed to teach you how to generate traffic to a website using only FREE traffic generation strategies
- Email eddy is not designed to target tradeable keywords, it is targeted at keywords that deliver lots of traffic through Search Engine Optimisation
With that said I would like to now give you some direction on what I would recommend you should be doing once you have built the initial content pages and landing pages. Remember the content pages are designed to generate search engine traffic while the landing pages are designed to bring in income.
So, before we talk about what you should be doing moving forward there are a few quick review items that I suggest doing:
Review all the content pages that you have built using the content page recipe (if you don’t know what this is keep an eye out for more info on the blog this week) and ensure they follow the rules. If the pages don’t follow the recipe make sure that you change the pages to follow the recipe
Review all the landing pages that you have built using the landing page recipe (if you don’t know what this is keep an eye out for more info on the blog this week) and ensure they follow the rules. If the pages don’t follow the recipe make sure that you change the pages to follow the recipe.
Once you have done a review and clean up here are a few things you to need to be doing weekly moving forward:
- Once a week check all links on landing pages are working and being tracked
- Once a week log in to your affiliate marketing accounts and check your earning balance
- Create and implement a traffic marketing plan
- Add 10 content pages to your website per month (see if you can leverage this through your traffic marketing plan)
I hope this helps to give clarity to you if you’re doing the email eddy strategy. Keep an eye out for the next steps for the traffic trading strategy.

I was talking with a client today and he found the following site:
http://sem.smallbusiness.yahoo.com/searchenginemarketing/marketingcost.php
This will allow you to get estimated Pay Per Click charges on keywords, which will fast track your process in doing step 1 - 3 of advanced email eddy

When submitting the first PR Web article for your website I will be using my account, which means you won’t need to create an account… However, because your website is new and the article that I will be submitting is about your new website PR web have some strict guidelines that need to be adhered to.
So for the first article that we submit using PR Web I suggest the angle you take should be “New Website Launches”. You should then describe that your new website aims to inform viewers about your topic. You should have some direct quotes from you regarding the website.
I hope that helps.

I was doing a quick critique this morning on a website using the email eddy strategy. The page I am about to show you is a content page on the website with affiliate links on the page and is another great example of a content page.
To have a look at it head over to the link below today:

I have spent some time today working with a few clients on their sites and thought you might also like to take a look at their sites because they’re great examples of Email Eddy sites!
This first example is the home page of a website that has the home page ready for traffic generation. This is the affiliate landing page that I talked about at the three day training. To check it out, head over to:

The second example is the home page of a website that is ready for joining PPC sites. This page will change to an affiliate landing page before we start doing traffic generation. Click on the link below to have a look at it now:

Well it’s been a busy day today. I left Bathurst and headed for Sydney this morning at 9:30am, when the temperature was still below zero.
The good news for you is that during my time in Sydney I happened to talk to Sean Rasmussen and I have organised a copy of his latest e-book about affiliate marketing. Sean’ story is amazing. He’s gone from broke to multi-millionaire affiliate marketer.
I think that his book will help give you some clarity over the use of affiliate marketing on the internet, but my major reason for wanting you to read it is to take some inspiration from his story.
I’ll be sending you an email on Wednesday with a link to the e-book where you can download it FREE of charge.
One last note before I go, I have asked Sean to be on one of our Fast Track Teleclasses in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for that!
