Market Research Survey Live Examples

25 November, 2008

We are currently running a live market research survey about Internet Marketing, I wrote a post a few weeks ago about how to structure a Market Research Survey and how it was important to ensure that you included a few things:

1. Plant Questions – Questions designed to lead the reader to a conclusion that buying or investing in a product or service similar to the one that you are offering is a good idea.  In the survey that we are doing at the moment we have a few different plant questions.  One of the major questions is not only a plant question but also a buying indication question.  Have a quick look below at the question and that answer stats:

In case you can’t read it, the question is “If there existed a book that could show you how others have already achieved your answers to question 11, would you be open to hearing about it?” As you can see, the large majority of people said “Yes”

2. First Name, Last Name, Email Address – I suggested in the previous Market Research Survey post that you should always ask for the First Name, Last Name and Email Address of the respondents.  In doing this I said that the best place was to ask this at the very end of the survey.  In the survey results we have at the moment we have found that having these questions at the end of the survey results in more people filling it in.  In the current survey we are running we have not had 1 person not fill in these details or abandon the survey.

As we continue through the survey process I will provide some more stats and insights.
