I have been touring around Australia with a good friend and Australia’s leading Internet Marketer Sean Rasmussen. It has been a privilege to spend so much time with him and getting to learn some of the strategies he uses to make money online.

As well as being able to take time to talk about Internet Marketing with Sean we have also been able to spend some time together socially. From my experience with him thus far here are 3 things I have learnt from Sean Rasmussen:

1. Value Your Family At Number 1

Sean has 2 great kids and a wonderful wife and not a day goes by without him talking with his family and telling him that he loves them. Whether we are in the middle of a planning session, eating dinner or at an event, Sean always makes time to ring his family or take a call from his family.

From hanging around with Sean I have now made sure that each day that we are apart I call my wife and tell her that I love her. I know it’s such a simple thing to learn, and most of you do this everyday, but it’s very easy to forget to do this every day, especially if you are busy.

2. Rank Your Website At Number 1 In Under 24hrs

In the last 2 live events that we have held for Smart Online Profit Systems Sean has been able to rank number 1 for a keyword in under 24hrs.  Not only that, he has targeted 1 keyword to rank on and ended up ranking on multiple keywords.

For example in Brisbane Sean targeted “Brisbane Internet Marketing Bootcamp” and in under 24hrs (actually in less then 2hrs) he was ranking number 1 for:

“Brisbane Internet Marketing Bootcamp”

“Internet Marketing Bootcamp” and number 4 for

“Brisbane Internet Marketing”

In the past I knew this was possible but had a mental block on actually achieving these results. Since meeting Sean I have also been able to get my sites ranking on keywords in under 24hrs simply and easily.

3. Social Media Rocks

I was a late starter to social media, yes I admit it, I held off joining Twitter, Facebook and Digg for as long as possible. Not that I didn’t believe in using these mediums to promote my websites, it’s just I prioritised other activities in my business. Since meeting Sean Rasmussen I have now increased my frequency in using Twitter, Digg and Facebook and in return I now get around 25% of my traffic from social media.
